Through the wonders of Twitter you can find links to all manner of things, many of which are mildly amusing or pretty useful. When I saw this YouTube video for an eBook version of Alice in Wonderland on the iPad I realised that the bar had been raised to a whole new level. This is likely to be where the iPad will really win out over the likes of Kindle.

This seems completely useless to me. I’m much more happy owning a book version of a book than having an app with silly animations.
While I think there is a danger that, for many books, animations and other little things could be a distraction, for something like Alice in Wonderland it’s perfect. There isn’t much of a story anyway and it complements the silliness of the world and what goes on there.
Embrace the new or get left behind. 🙂
Well, I thinks it’s nice to see the ebook version of Alice in wonderland but in my view the original videos and stories as well as web version of Alice is more interesting comparing to reading an Ebook. However’ it’s great idea and other ebook writing services should try such things while preparing more ebooks.
