Interviewed
The Adventure-Treff gaming site asked me for an interview almost as soon as the Sapphire Claw announcement was made. It’s now been posted on the site and you can read it in English or German.

I’ve updated the pages for Juniper Crescent – The Sapphire Claw. You know how it is when you’ve been living with something for a while and suddenly, what appeared perfectly good when you created it, becomes annoying and makes you wonder what you were thinking of at the time. That’s how it was with these …
The last few weeks, especially the last couple of days, have been more than a little strange, but very exciting. When my empoyment with Revolution Software came to an end a year ago, my only thought was to get another job and simply continue as I had been. If you’d have said to me that …
The wonderful people over at Adventure Gamers have written a very complimentary article on the Sapphire Claw game. As I referenced earlier in the week, I’ve been very busy lately. Now you know what I’ve been working on. 🙂

According to this news item over at Adventure Gamers, Another Code for the Nintendo DS is coming out on the 3rd June. Excellent news! I’m really looking forward to seeing how this game is being handled.
Today sees the publication of the 5oth Mr. Smoozles strip.
This article over at GameDailyBiz makes me wonder if it’s indicative of something larger. Is it a sign, written large, that the next generation consoles are going to be filled with safe bets, lack of originality and creativity and will tend towards a blandness that will drive away the gamers?
GameDailyBiz has an interesting article which illustrates how important it is for creators and license-holders to protect their rights. Things must be bad when the FBI is involved…
What are you like? by Tom Bramwell over at Eurogamer is an interesting read. Are the attitudes he highlights a danger to gaming development as a whole?
