The Witcher - competition!

The Witcher is a new game that I did some script editing work on earlier this year.

I have a spare copy of the game to give away to the lucky winner of this free-to-enter competition. I will sign the game for the winner, too.

Just answer the following two questions:

1. Who is the author of the stories on which The Witcher game is based?
2. What is the name of the company that developed The Witcher game (not the publisher)?

Send your answers in an e-mail addressed to info@incesight.co.uk with the subject, “The Witcher Competition”. Because the game is rated 18, contestants must be 18 or over in order to take part.

Competition closes on 30th November 2007. The winner will be drawn at random from the correct entries received by this deadline. The winner will then be contacted to request postal address details and the copy of the game will be posted promptly thereafter.

About The Witcher

I would have done much more than I did but it mostly clashed with the work I was doing on So Blonde.

I didn't know either. Is there a difference between the US version and the european English version? From what I've heard the dialogues in the US version are very much toned down compared to the, ahem, "colorful" Polish original :)

I have my fingers in different pies.

You have to look very hard to find my name in the credits, though. :)

Actually, I don't think I've seen so many credits for a game.

I think that the US and European English versions are the same. Certainly, in the 100K words that I edited there was no request to differentiate.

The english versions are probably similar, but in comparison with the Polish original it's apparently badly hack&slashed. I can't vouch for it tho', haven't played it myself (waiting & finger-crossing for that signed copy ;] )
