Free Game Maker file and Updated Demo!

Because I've been refining the game over the last few weeks, I've also updated the demo, which you can find on the downloads page.

There is also the Game Maker file for the demo, for those of you who are interested in how I put the game together. However, in order to view the file you need to download the software from the Game Maker site.

The full game is very imminent!

Glad to hear it's progressing well and very much looking forward to the full version. I hope it turns out well for you - I think if it's handled well this game has real potential to be a decently sized casual hit.

Thanks, Junkface. I'm feeling quite hopeful - nearly everyone who plays it tells me they love it. Unless they're just being kind. :)

Very gracious of you to provide the GameMaker file as well, Steve. Not many people would do that. It's an interesting read and there has obviously been a lot of work in putting the whole project together (with quite a number of scripts, I see!).

Good luck in the final run up to release and no, people aren't just being kind when they say they really like it!

Thanks Paul, that's great of you to say.

I was thinking of giving away the Game Maker file for the whole game to those who bought the game, but then I realised that it would play into the hands of the unscrupulous tiny minority. Giving away the file for the demo is a good compromise, I think. The number of scripts is only a tiny proportion of what's in the final game. :)
