Ubisoft Director Criticises Sony's PS3

Over at Eurogamer, this recently posted piece made me smile. The idea that Sony is copying features from the other consoles makes me wonder if a kind of plateau is being reached.

Concentrate on fun gameplay, please.

But Steve, Sony have *always* copied Nintendo. Every change to every Sony console thus far - from analogue stick, through haptic interface (rumble pack) through to motion sensors has been copied from Nintendo.

Except, of course, for the things that they copy from Microsoft. :)

If there's one thing Sony don't do, it's innovate.

I have to say, though, that motion sensors make a lot more sense in a wand controller than in a joypad. I mean, come on... Either get it right or don't do it at all. Sony has really missed the point with this one; they just got scared because someone had something they didn't.

Take care!

I guess that's true enough. Though to be fair, when the Playstation first came out in 1995 it was a bit of a landmark in the home console market. It's a shame that there is where it seems to have ended.
