Thanks to Andrew Stern, who offered a couple of recommendations, I&#8217;m now starting to build up a small collection.  Though &#8220;Stardust&#8221; is taking a little getting into, I love &#8220;Mingus Ah Um&#8221; and is exactly the type of thing that I&#8217;m interested in.<\/p>\n<p>Having heard a few interesting tracks on the radio, I bought &#8220;Kind of Blue&#8221; by Miles Davis (which is my current favourite album), &#8220;Midnight Blue&#8221; by Kenny Burrell and &#8220;Requiem&#8221; by Branford Marsalis.  Love them all.<\/p>\n<p>In a way, it&#8217;s like being a teenager again and when I first got into music of any kind, discovering Bowie, Floyd, Queen, etc.  (I know, my age is showing.)
