Mr. Smoozles reaches 150

I've just posted the 150th Mr. Smoozles comic strip. Hooray! Lots more to come, too, so keep checking back every Monday Wednesday and Friday.

The main Mr. Smoozles page is here.

New Mr. Smoozles Strip

At last I've found a bit of time to create a new Mr. Smoozles strip. Hopefully I'll be able to get back into a reasonably regular update schedule again.

As normal, you can find the new strip on the main Mr. Smoozles page.

Free Game Maker file and Updated Demo!

Because I've been refining the game over the last few weeks, I've also updated the demo, which you can find on the downloads page.

There is also the Game Maker file for the demo, for those of you who are interested in how I put the game together. However, in order to view the file you need to download the software from the Game Maker site.

The full game is very imminent!

Praise for Mr. Smoozles Goes Nutso

Scott Nixon, a designer over at Awe Games, sent me a very encouraging message, full of praise. It's always great when you get compliments from fellow developers, so I thought I'd share it with you:

"I resisted downloading the smoozles demo solely based on screenshots, which is a stupid and judgemental thing to do - I finally DLed it this morning, and I absolutely love it... the characters, the art... I had a smile on my face the whole time I was playing and now I kick myself for not trying it sooner...

"Great opening by the way. Gets you into it within a few seconds.

"I guess what I'm saying us I can understand it might be a hard sell at first, but once you get people to play it they'll come around quick. IMHO."
