Something new...
... at least, something not connected to So Blonde. :)

I've been experimenting a little with a new style. Not fully sure, yet, how it will actually work in game and which game I'm going to use it on, but I think it would be fun to do.

Feels like Beneath a Steel Sky. Great job!
Hmmm...
I don't see that myself.
I think you're on to something great here.
To me, it evokes a retro look, like a blend of Metropolis and Buck Rogers - the guy looks dated, in a campy, 50's kind of way, yet it has a slighly more sophisticated look as well.
Given the treatment in 2d, I'm not sure how you'd implement it into a 3d game - would definitely be a trick to model and render so it retained the same vibe.
But what I see in my head is a futuristic game with 50's overtones - jet packs, flying cars, etc.
Hi Brad,
Thanks for your comments. I never really saw it as futuristic retro, but I certainly see what you mean. I was thinking more along the lines of a modern day setting with a hand-drawn feel.
Unless someone could come up with a very clever way of rendering, I don't think it could be done as 3D.
